His leadership roles at The Marijuana Policy Project, United States Cannabis Council, and National Cannabis Industry Association have focused on advancing social equity at both state and national levels.
Before entering the cannabis industry, Johnson had a successful career in Wealth Management with firms such as Morgan Stanley, where he served on the Diversity Council. He holds a Marketing degree from Howard University and a certificate in Power and Influence for Positive Impact from Harvard Business School Online.
Johnson also hosts the popular podcast, The Cannabis Diversity Report, and is a sought-after voice in the cannabis industry, with appearances in The Wall Street Journal, Rolling Stone, NBC News, The New York Times, The Guardian, Forbes, CNBC, Black Enterprise, BET, and more.
